Rabbi Catharine Clark and Family to Visit

Rabbi Catharine Clark and FamilyCongregation Agudas Israel will be hosting a visit from Rabbi Catharine Clark and her family later this month.

Rabbi Clark will be ordained in May by the Jewish Theological Seminary, where she was recently awarded the Cyrus Adler Prize given to the outstanding student entering the senior class.  She is currently the Legacy Heritage Rabbinic Fellow at Temple Adath Sharon in Sharon, Massachusetts.  Her prior student pulpit experience includes The Shaar Shalom in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ahavath Sholom in Fort Worth, Texas and Sinai Synagogue of South Bend, Indiana.

Before beginning her studies in rabbinical school, she was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and a law clerk for The Honorable Sarah Evans Barker of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Indiana.  She holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Rabbi Clark enjoys yoga, cooking, reading and riding her bike.  She and her husband, Eric Robinson, have a 7-month old daughter, Naomi.  They all enjoy watching baseball and football.

Rabbi Clark will be will leading Shabbat services Friday March 23 at 6 PM followed by a shared supper,  and Saturday March 24 at 10 AM followed by lunch. Please come out to show the Rabbi and her family our CAI warmth.
