Rabbi Claudio to Be Installed September 22

Rabbi Claudio JodorkovskyCongregation Agudas Israel Synagogue is proud and excited to welcome Rabbi Claudio Jodorkovsky as our Rabbi.

Rabbi Claudio will be installed as the Rabbi of Congregation Agudas Israel on Saturday, September 22.   The prayers and installation will be led by  Rabbi Steven Wernick, International CEO of the  United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism visiting from New York.

This evening will be a highlight in the life of our community.  Please  come and celebrate with us.

Rabbi Claudio Jodorkovsky was born in Santiago, Chile in 1974, where he attended elementary and high school.  At 18, having graduated from high school, he chose to dedicate his life to the service of the Jewish community as an educator and  rabbi. For that purpose he moved to Argentina where he studied to become a rabbi in the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary of the Conservative Movement.

After graduating, Rabbi Claudio served in a congregation in Bogota Columbia.  He comes from there with  his wife Rosy, and their children Ameil and Yoel.
